Tiny Big Quest
You play as Tania, as she shrinks in size into an unknown world!
Meet the "Dust Bunny" people, explore a village made of bread, croissant and donuts, solve a dungeon puzzle and restore magic to this tiny realm!
As a young woman who is moving out and decided to do a last check in the attic, she barely knew she was about to go on a Tiny Big Quest of her own!
Controls: Use the left mouse button to look for hotspots and interact, and the right mouse button to call the inventory forth. (but it's ok if you can't 'right click', the game is set so you can complete just by interacting with stuff)

This is a project I went solo, for the GameDev.tv 2025 jam...
The theme was "Tiny World" and I came up with this idea for an adventure game, after seeing the sponsored assets...
Took me around 7 days to finish the core coding + art and the other 3 days for polishing.
I used 'Adventure Game Studio' (AGS) engine, and for the art I used 'Blender', 'Aseprite', 'PixelOver' (pixel art shader for 3D),' Pixel Composer' (pixel art particle engine), LDtk (for assembling tilesets).

I finally played the game, and if was fun! I second the call for a download option, though. Hope to see more from you, this world was well put together.
Thank you so much for taking the time! Glad you had fun!
I will give this project some more attention this year and add the download option too β¨βΊοΈ
I was sure I had read about the game earlier, but couldn't find it in the Finished Games thread on the forums. But I think perhaps it was on Discord, where I usually only log in if the forums are down.
After seeing some of the feedback in the game jam, I guess it must be a bit frustrating when so many players are unfamiliar with what an adventure game is. And the results in a game jam of that size with player voting is bound to be uncertain, as noone can play all the games. Good-looking thumbnails and familiar genres, along with young devs trading votes with each other, will influence the result list a lot. Your placement despite making an adventure game, is quite an achievement.
Thank you so much for digging through it!
Indeed, adventure games are more niche today than before but I'm just happy I managed to get people to enjoy a fun experience! π And yeah, I was surprised by the game jam results myself too! Just means that gamers can still enjoy some discovery and exploration titles ππ
Looks like a lovely game, but I only play games offline - which is pretty normal for adventure games. Looks like I'll have to give your lovely game a miss, since you decided not to have a simple "download" option.
Happy you liked the vibes! My bad, I should export an executable for download...haha
Didn't think much of it, since it's like a 10~15 mins experience... π
I'm really impressed with the vibe this game gives and how well everything works together. Thanks for the experience!
Thank you so much! It was a lot of work but very fun to do! π
Really cool game!
Gives strong undertale mixed with legend of zelda vibes :)
Thank you! Happy you like it! I'm always inspired by the classics... π
very cool and cute game. Had fun playing it. Only the Menu took a little too much space for my liking, but for a week development, incredible!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! ππ
Yeah, I didn't have time to go over any of the UI .. haha! Might tweak things a bit more after the jam allows it...
Left you a follow to not miss an update π
aw! ty!β¨πβ‘
This is an inspiring game! I hope i'll be able to make something like this too!
Thank you! I've been tinkering with the engine (Adventure Game Studio) for an year, and to be honest, it's not super hard to get started with it... I got inspired with this tutorial by Juliana Minamata and it developed my skills from there...
Wish you best of luck with your journey!π
Really beautiful game! Gives me undertale vibes
Thank you ! Happy you liked it! β¨β¨
That's a really nice game. Thank you.
Thank YOU for taking the time to play it!β¨β¨
As of today it's still a bit unpolished, but I will try to wrap up the main bugs before the deadline ππ
